"My daughter has studied piano with Mr. Miller for more than two years. Mr. Miller is an outstanding piano teacher. He has a very well rounded approach that includes piano theory, sight reading, ear training, performance and recital. He always been able to strike a perfect balance between rigor and gentleness. He is very kind, very patient, and he inspires his students to enjoy learning and to love music. I have introduced Mr. Miller to quite a few of my friends who also sent their kids to him. All of them are very happy!"

                      - Carol Y., Markham, ON

“Reginald Miller is an exceptional music teacher.  Having engaged in advanced studies in piano performance, music theory, music history and piano pedagogy with Mr. Miller, I would recommend him highly to anyone who is considering study in these areas.  Mr. Miller is very congenial and highly professional in his manner, and imparts learning that indeed reflects the great wealth of his own experiences in Europe and North America. He has a wonderful approach with young people and adults alike.  Students who are already advanced in their studies will find that they are taken to a new level in terms of their piano technique and style.”

                     - Indira Brown, Uxbridge, ON

"My son couldn't be happier when he finished his ARCT exam with first class honours. I am very greatful that I found Mr. Miller three years ago. He is much more than a qualified teacher... humble, patient and kind. Mr. Miller is a professional pianist who can show his students how to perform better. His great knowledge of music helped my son pass all his theory exams. In addition, he encourages his students to go to different competitions for experience. His teaching style is the key to his students' success. My son would not have made it without Mr. Miller. I highly recommend Mr. Miller to those who care about their children's musical interests and career."

"I studied with Mr. Miller for four years to do my level 10 piano and theory, ARCT theory, and prepare for my ARCT Piano Performance exam. Mr. Miller is skilled in helping students achieve a higher level in their playing and I found that my performances became more refined. His attention to detail has help me listen more acutely, and become critical and aware during my practicing. Working with Mr. Miller has given me the tools to prepare to study piano performance at the University of Ottawa."

                       - Annika Fabbi

"A kind, thoughtful, vastly experienced, and extremely knowledgeable teacher, Mr. Miller has brought my piano skills and overall level to one much higher than I ever expected or thought possible over the past four years, including RCM’s piano level 10. Mr. Miller helps students look more deeply at the details of the music being played. By helping incorporate relevant styles, tone, and historical context into students’ interpretations, he provides key insight into aspects of performances, lifting them to a much higher standard. His patience, professionalism, and witty sense of humor  make for extremely productive, effective, and enjoyable lessons I can whole-heartedly recommend to anyone playing at any level. Whether you are a beginner just starting out, or an already experienced performer looking to further enhance your performances and hone your technical skills, Mr. Miller’s expertise and dedication surpass any expectations, providing students with the confidence, skill, and knowledge they need to flourish in all aspects of their musical development."

His experience of piano performance and his understanding of music theory brings the music alive. Mr. Miller is a patient teacher. He teaches students how to be attentive to details, while also seeing the big picture. In his lessons, students learn not only piano skills, but also develop ear training skills and a foundation in music theory. Mr. Miller encourages students to perform. With his perspective as a senior RCM examiner and experienced adjudicator, Mr. Miller prepares students very well for exams and competitions.
